Our team of over 30 licensed psychologists, licensed professional counselors, licensed clinical social workers, licensed marriage and family therapists, paraprofessionals, clinical trainees, and specialized support staff are committed to providing systemic, trauma-informed mental health services integrating brain and strengths-based perspectives. Role: This role provides direct services to children, adolescents, and families as well as supervision and training to doctoral trainees, including doctoral practicum student, psychology interns as part of an APA-Accredited Internship Program, and postdoctoral fellows (https://momentousinstitute.org/clinical-training).
Professional Responsibilities:
· Provide assessment, psychotherapy (individual, family, and group) and consulting services to children, adolescents and families in a multidisciplinary outpatient setting. Momentous Institute is committed to diversifying the way psychological services are provided. Therefore, some clinical interventions may be provided in the community in collaboration with organization partners.
· Supervise the clinical and administrative work of psychology trainees, including supervision of both therapy and assessment. If the psychologist is bilingual in English and Spanish, this will include supervision of services provided in Spanish.
· Attend weekly planning and training meetings to contribute to the implementation and development of training programs at Momentous Institute.
· Collaborate with training committee members and Momentous Institute staff as needed to support the development of trainees.
· Provide training (in the community and internally) on topics relevant to the field of child/family psychology.
· Work in collaboration with Momentous School to support the needs of referred students, their families and teachers.
· Participate in program evaluation efforts within the organization.
· Maintain all paperwork requirements for both clinical and supervision services.
Qualifications:
· Psychologist licensed or provisionally licensed in Texas. Provisionally licensed candidates must have passed the EPPP national exam to be considered for position.
· Graduated from a doctoral program accredited by the American Psychological Association.
· Internship attended must be APA accredited.
· Minimum of three years of experience providing therapy.
· Preference for psychologists who have provided supervision to graduate trainees.
· Preference for psychologist proficient in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
· Able to work with clients/colleagues of diverse backgrounds including ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, religion, etc.
· Experience assessing learning disabilities as well as social emotional functioning of children and adolescents is required. Experience assessing bilingual (English & Spanish) children preferred.
· Capacity to provide services at least two evenings a week

Physical Demands:
· Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
· Occasionally adjusting or moving objects up to 15 pounds in all directions
· Occasionally assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
