Position Summary:
Chroma is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Regional Sales Associate to support and grow our semiconductor and electronics test equipment business throughout Arizona. This individual will be responsible for promoting and selling the full portfolio of Chroma equipment and solutions while developing strong customer relationships across engineering, manufacturing, validation, and product qualification organizations.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of successful B2B and face-to-face sales experience, excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with technical decision-makers. Experience within the semiconductor capital equipment industry is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Roles & Responsibilities
Sales Development & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Promote and sell the complete portfolio of company equipment, systems, software, and services.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
- Conduct customer visits, presentations, product demonstrations, and technical sales discussions.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities and bookings.
- Track competitive activities, market developments, and customer trends within the territory.
Customer Relationship Management
- Establish trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary sales contact for assigned accounts throughout Arizona.
- Support customer evaluations, quotations, negotiations, and closing activities.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction before, during, and after system implementation.
- Coordinate customer communications and follow-up activities in a timely and professional manner.
Technical Sales Collaboration
- Assist customers in identifying optimal test and thermal solutions based on their technical and production requirements.
Work closely with customer organizations including:
- Technical Program Managers (TPMs)
- Electrical Engineers (EEs)
- Mechanical Engineers (MEs)
- Validation Engineers
- Silicon Characterization Engineers
- Manufacturing and Operations Teams
Coordinate internally with:
- Applications Engineering
- Product Management
- Service
- Marketing
- Operations
Account & Territory Management
- Maintain current customer information and opportunity records within CRM systems.
- Prepare and deliver accurate quotations, proposals, and sales documentation.
- Manage territory activities with a disciplined and organized sales approach.
- Travel throughout Arizona as needed to support customer engagements and business development initiatives.
Business Representation
- Represent the company professionally at customer sites, industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Promote company value propositions and solution capabilities.
- Support strategic growth initiatives within the semiconductor and electronics markets.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 3–5 years of successful B2B sales experience.
- Proven face-to-face (F2F) customer engagement and relationship-building experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple customer accounts and sales opportunities.
- Experience working with engineering and technical teams in a consultative sales environment.

The following qualifications are considered a plus but are not mandatory:
- Experience in the Semiconductor Capital Equipment industry.
- Mandarin Speaking is a major plus.
- Experience selling test, measurement, automation, validation, characterization, reliability, or manufacturing equipment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Technical or engineering education background.
- Understanding of semiconductor development, validation, characterization, manufacturing, or test environments.
Physical & Travel Requirements
- Must reside in Arizona.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory on a regular basis.
- Ability to attend customer meetings, presentations, trade events, and training sessions as required.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel by air when necessary.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $85,000 – $100,000
