JAN-PRO of Hampton Roads is hiring an Outside Sales Executive.

• The base pay is $55,000 and comes with a huge upside with no cap on commissions. Additional bonuses up to 15% of your base pay.

In this role, you will work within a defined geographic territory that targets business prospects. You will identify and sign new clients for cleaning and disinfecting services. Daily, you will cold call, cultivate relationships, set appointments, gather leads, assess prospect needs to present the best JAN-PRO Cleaning & Disinfecting solutions. We prefer 3 years of prior sales experience but will teach you how to use the latest sales technology to set you up for success.

What you will do: Responsibilities

• Cold Call. You will need to help create your pipeline by prospecting, networking and building your own pipeline of prospects.
• Grow Our Business While Growing Yours. You will work independently and collaboratively as part of a team within your assigned geography to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals
• Turn Prospects into Loyal Clients and Raving Fans. You will implement a sales strategy targeted at decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
• Collaborate Daily. You will serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ambassador to your prospects and overall network while demonstrating grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards.
• On-site Surveys. You will meet with the client, develop a needs assessment while conducting a survey, taking measurements in order to create a customized proposal.
• Selling Contracts. You will close contracts with business for recurring cleaning services which will be performed by JAN-PRO Cleaning & Disinfecting franchise owners.

To Succeed in This Role: Required Qualifications

• Self-Generated Leads. The top tier Sales reps at JAN-PRO create their own success, by consistently cold calling, networking and creating your own leads.
• Positive Self-Starter. You have an upbeat, persistent style and the ability to cold call without fear of rejection, manage your time well, and can present your ideas in a clear professional manner on paper, in person, and over the phone.
• Agile Solution Seeker. You are a problem solver who can find an answer, or a solution, even in times of fast-paced change.
• Continuous Learner. You are always learning, growing, and questioning how things were done in the past to make them even better.
• Relationship Builder. You will need to Network, attend events throughout the community to build your brand, build JAN-PRO’s brand and develop relationships which will benefit our community going forward.

A college degree is great but not required. What is more important is having the skills to do the job. If you do not have a college degree, other acceptable experience could include:

• Proven & documented self lead generation
• One to three years of prior work experience in another relevant industry, Or,

• Prior documented quota-carrying experience
• Ability to successfully build a network and effectively use social media for sales
• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as skill and relevant experience. This position does include additional compensation in the form of commissions and bonuses.

On Target earnings $100,000+ per year which includes base salary, unlimited commissions, additional commission for self-generated deals, and annual team bonus.
