Project Lead 1 (Contract)

• Ideally looking for candidates local to Austin, TX or surrounding areas. Must currently reside in Texas.

The Project Lead 1 will support the operations of a large-scale electric vehicle charging network and related transportation electrification programs. This role will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational excellence across public and fleet charging infrastructure, support high-impact initiatives, identify opportunities for program enhancements, and contribute research and analysis for emerging technology projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the operations of a large network of electric vehicle charging stations across multiple locations.
• Process program incentives and verify compliance requirements for transportation electrification and sustainability-related programs.
• Generate recurring and ad hoc reports for leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to support operational objectives.
• Support data validation, quality assurance, and reporting accuracy across multiple programs and operational platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve scalability, efficiency, and customer experience.
• Participate in outreach, education, and engagement activities to promote program awareness and adoption.
• Provide regular operational updates and performance insights to management and key stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Analyze and manage large datasets using Excel and other reporting tools to support business decisions.

Required Qualifications
Experience

• 1–3 years of project or program coordination/management experience.
• 1–3 years of experience using Microsoft Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel reporting and data analysis.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 2–3 years of experience supporting sustainability, clean energy, transportation electrification, infrastructure, or related initiatives.
• Experience with electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, or other emerging technologies.
• Experience analyzing data, creating reports, and communicating findings to stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
