Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Kitchen & Bath Cabinet Designer / Sales professional to join our team serving the beautiful Aspen to Vail Colorado areas . In this role, you will combine your creative talent with technical expertise to design beautiful, functional kitchen and bathroom cabinetry that meets clients’ needs and aesthetic preferences. You will guide customers through the selection process, provide expert advice on materials and finishes, and manage the sales process from initial consultation to project completion. Your enthusiasm for interior design, construction, and customer service will drive successful project outcomes and ensure client satisfaction.

Duties

• Client Consultations: Lead client design meetings, present floor plans, and assist with material and fixed finish selections.
• Drive Showroom Sales: Educate clients on cabinetry construction, door styles, hardware, and finishes to up-sell project packages and close contracts.
• Space Planning & Rendering: Develop highly accurate, functional kitchen and bath layouts, 3D renderings, and elevations.
• Manage Project Cycles: Prepare transparent project cost estimates, proposals, contracts, and sales documentation.
• Order Engineering: Generate comprehensive installer-ready blueprints, technical specifications, and factory-ready cabinetry order sheets.
• Collaborate with Teams: Partner closely and act as the central point of contact between clients, field superintendents, general contractors, and cabinet installers, manufacturers to resolve on-site construction questions smoothly and troubleshoot site adjustments.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of [2 to 5] years of proven experience in, interior design and/or designing custom or semi-custom residential kitchen and bath cabinetry.
• Software Proficiency: Expert-level mastery of industry software like [2020 Design / Cabinet Vision / Chief Architect / AutoCAD].
• Technical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with standard architectural symbols, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) clearances, and residential building codes.
• Accountability: A proven track record of maintaining zero-error accuracy on complex, high-value cabinetry product orders.
• Communication: Outstanding verbal and written client-facing presentation skills.
• Sales Motivator: Exceptional track record in consultative closing, handling luxury home goods, or managing big-ticket home renovation sales.
• Detail Oriented: Ability to manage multiple client accounts and complex technical layouts simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification: NKBA credentials, such as an Associate Kitchen & Bath Designer (AKBD) or Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer (CKBD).

• Industry Network: Existing relationships with local builders, interior designers, or real estate developers.
