The Job You Will Perform:

Maintenance Level 3 performs a variety of activities to maintain plant equipment and facilities in optimum operating condition. These activities include scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency / break down repair

Opportunity to advance into higher Maintenance Levels, with training provided.

Primary Maintenance duties/responsibilities include:

- following all safety rules and practices;

- performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels;

- performing emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations;

- referencing equipment manuals and other technical literature;

- contacting and working with vendors and subcontractors to achieve desired results;

- accurately using measurement and test equipment;

- performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, hot glue system, and other repairs and installations as needed;

- maintaining clean and organized work areas, and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks;

- accurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperwork;

- trouble-shooting and solving problems

- maintaining teamwork with other associates;

- keeping supervisor informed of problems and/or unusual situations;

- performing other duties as assigned by supervision.

- understands the importance of producing food-safe packaging products and committing to contributing and maintaining this facility as a food-safe processing environment. This commitment includes operational methods and personnel practices, maintenance practices, and cleaning practices involved in the everyday production of food contact products.

Primary Electrical responsibilities include:

-Ability to read electrical prints

-Understanding & troubleshooting three phase circuits

-Understanding step down & isolation transformers

-Understanding of control circuits

-Understanding of safety circuits

-Proper use of multi-meter

-Proper use of an amp robe meter

-Proper use of a mega meter

-Troubleshoot & replacement of AC/DC drives
