Job Summary
Join our team as a Tasting Room Associate, where your enthusiasm and exceptional customer service skills will create memorable experiences for visitors exploring our premium offerings. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide engaging tours of the tasting room and production areas
• Conduct tastings of our products, explaining flavor profiles, production methods, and pairing suggestions with enthusiasm
• Assist guests with selecting products, upselling items to enhance their experience while meeting sales goals
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tasting stations, ensuring all food safety standards are met
• Process transactions accurately using POS system, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Support menu planning efforts by providing feedback on popular products and guest preferences
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate special events like food and wine pairings or private tastings
• Handle food service duties including serving samples, managing catering orders, and assisting with banquet setups when needed
• Uphold food safety standards during meal preparation, food handling, and serving activities to ensure guest safety and satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments with a focus on customer interaction
• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products naturally and effectively
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere
• Knowledge of menu planning, culinary techniques, and food industry best practices
• Experience in serving, catering, banquet operations or meal preparation is highly desirable
• Understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous fine dining experience or experience in the food industry is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
