Job Description
Demonstrated hands-on experience utilizing and integrating shipboard and shore-based embedded training systems, specifically Trainer Control Workstation (TCW), the Surface ASW Synthetic Trainer (SAST), and Battle Force Tactical Trainer (BFTT).
Must be a qualified Navy Instructor (NEC 805A) with a strong background in curriculum development and delivering high-stakes military training.
Must have extensive shipboard experience executing complex fleet-level exercises and CRUDES Basic Phase Training Cycles.
Demonstrated experience in modernization efforts, such as overhauling courses, authoring Standard Operating Procedures, and conducting pilot courses to guarantee curriculum effectiveness.
Must be able to support training with extended periods on your feet while instructing. Travel may be required up to 10% of time.
A strong background in Sailor development, including mentoring junior instructors, leading divisions, and managing qualification progress.
Proven expertise utilizing the Combat Systems Operational Sequencing System (CSOSS) and driving operational readiness as an active member or leader of a Combat Systems Training Team (CSTT).
A strong background in Acoustic Analysis and Target Motion Analysis.
A strong working knowledge of maintenance requirements for the AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 SONAR system(s) and associated Auxiliary equipment as well as SVTT (Surface Vessel Torpedo Tubes).
Designation Letters for ASWC and SUWC a significant plus.
