Job Summary/Basic Functions

Position Summary: The LSUHSC Child & Family Counseling Clinic is seeking a student a worker.
The selected candidate will be responsible for answering incoming phone calls and responding to
clinic emails in a professional and timely manner. They will check patients in and accurately
document information using the EPIC electronic health records system. The role includes cleaning,
organizing, and restocking clinic rooms and the playground to maintain a safe and welcoming
environment. The candidate will attend staff meetings twice per month and assist with outreach
efforts by creating flyers and developing social media posts.

Minimum Qualifications

Eligibility for a student worker position requires being enrolled at least part-time and in good standing at an accredited high school, junior college, college or university, or a vocational-technical school.

Established in 1970, by the Board of Supervisors, the School of Allied Health Professions comprises both undergraduate and graduate programs. Baccalaureate degrees (Bachelor of Science) are offered in Cardiopulmonary Science and Medical Laboratory Science.
