Salary: $85,000–$100,000 depending on experience

We are seeking an organized, proactive Project Manager who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and keeping complex projects moving from start to finish.
Position Overview
The AV Project Manager owns project execution and serves as a primary point of contact between ESC, our clients, builders, designers, and field technicians.
This person will coordinate projects from kickoff through completion, keep clients and trade partners informed, and ensure technicians have the information, equipment, and direction needed to succeed.
Success in this role requires excellent communication, adaptability, and the ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment where schedules and priorities can change daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple AV and smart home projects simultaneously
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Assign technicians and coordinate labor requirements
- Coordinate rough-in, trim, programming, commissioning, and final walkthroughs
- Communicate with homeowners, builders, architects, designers, and trade partners
- Provide consistent project updates and identify potential delays
- Conduct project kickoff meetings and jobsite visits
- Review plans, scopes of work, and project documentation
- Coordinate equipment needs with purchasing and inventory
- Track project progress, changes, and outstanding items in D-Tools
- Identify and resolve issues before they affect schedules or client expectations
- Support field technicians by removing obstacles and providing clear direction
- Manage punch lists, final walkthroughs, and project closeout
- Help ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with ESC installation standards
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of project management experience, preferably in AV, low-voltage, electrical, construction, or technology integration
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple active projects and shifting priorities
- Experience coordinating field technicians, subcontractors, or construction trades
- Professional client-facing communication skills
- Ability to read construction plans, project scopes, and technical documentation
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience with Control4, Lutron, Crestron, or smart home systems is preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
