Join our dynamic team as a CDL A Hazmat Tanker Driver and take charge of transporting hazardous materials safely and efficiently across various over-the-road (OTR) routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate specialized tanker trucks, including refrigerated trailers and flatbeds, while adhering to strict safety standards and regulations. As a key player in our logistics network, you will ensure timely deliveries, maintain compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and uphold the highest safety standards in handling dangerous goods. Duties

• Safely operate tractor-trailers, including tanker trucks, flatbeds, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and refrigerated trailers, on long-haul or local routes.
• Transport hazardous materials (Hazmat), ensuring compliance with hazardous materials regulations and proper documentation at all times.
• Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques or equipment such as forklifts, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transit.
• Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems while adhering to scheduled delivery times and route plans.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and cargo to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, inspections, and delivery records in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and emergency responders when necessary to coordinate deliveries or address issues on the road.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on hazardous materials transportation (Hazmat).
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA rules, hazardous materials handling procedures, and safety protocols.
• Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers with manual handling experience.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments during deliveries.
• Ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklift or manual methods; experience with freight handling is preferred.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with over-the-road (OTR) routes is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of dangerous goods transportation requirements including tanker operations, flatbed hauling, refrigerated trailer management, and freight logistics.

Pay: $700.00 - $1,500.00 per week
