In addition to our retail store, we proudly operate a cat café that provides a safe, enriching home for up to 15 resident adoptable cats while helping them find their forever families. Our team is passionate about animal welfare, education, and creating an exceptional experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate team member who is passionate about animal health, natural nutrition, and outstanding customer service. This position is available full-time or part-time and combines retail responsibilities with hands-on animal care, making it perfect for someone who enjoys working with both people and pets.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting natural pet foods, treats, and supplies.
• Educate customers about pet nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.
• Provide daily care for up to 15 resident adoptable cats in our cat café, including feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, monitoring health and behavior, administering basic care as directed, and providing enrichment and socialization.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and inviting cat café for both cats and guests.
• Work collaboratively with teammates to ensure exceptional care for our animals and outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Passion for animal care, natural pet nutrition, and sustainable living.
• Comfortable and confident working closely with both cats and dogs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and engage customers.
• Basic knowledge of pet nutrition, especially fresh and natural foods, is preferred.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Previous retail, customer service, animal care, or veterinary experience is required.

Requirements

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, cleaning, and stocking.
• Genuine interest in animal health, nutrition, and providing exceptional care.
