We are seeking a high-profile Location Manager to oversee inbound and outbound operations, warehousing, scheduling, routing, delivery, and appliance installation for a diverse mix of commercial and residential customers.
This role coordinates and supervises daily and weekly warehouse operations in a facility of approximately 30,000 square feet. The Location Manager provides leadership, motivation, training, and development for warehouse and delivery staff, ensures excellent customer service, supports continuous improvement efforts, and reinforces company policies while fostering a positive work culture.

Inbound/Outbound Shipments and Route Staging
Manage the flow of inbound shipments and stage materials for each day’s routes. Responsibilities include verifying inbound shipments, auditing manifests, stocking the warehouse, picking items for next-day installations, and staging product by route or lane. Manage the flow of outbound shipments. Ensuring accuracy with staging of outbound shipments.
Associate Interaction
Support associate development through one-on-one coaching, regular floor presence during shifts, team meetings, ride-behinds in the field and ongoing training.
Key responsibilities include:
- Direct daily activities to maintain a safe, secure, clean, and fair work environment for associates and contractors.
- Hiring, new associate orientation, training, and development as needed.
- Ensure associates have access to the tools and resources needed to perform their assigned duties.
- Project management
- Conducting annual performance reviews and coaching.
- Planning daily routes
- Customer relations
Process Improvement
Partner with the Regional Manager on action planning, space planning, and inventory, stock, and turnover reviews.
- Drive warehouse organization and process optimization to improve efficiency, reduce damage rates, and help associates understand daily routines and accountability.
Planning
Responsibilities include daily scheduling, staffing plans, job breakdown analysis, workflow prioritization, and project management.
- Plan, manage, and adjust daily workload and staffing to minimize overtime.
- Ensure shift, daily, and weekly workload planning and volume forecasting routines are completed, including staffing, equipment, and space needs.
Communications
Communicate daily goals and activities to warehouse staff, coordinate with delivery teams, and maintain clear internal communication with office staff.
Maintaining Positive Customer Relationships
Visiting customers in the field to maintain strength of relationship. Accompanying delivery and install teams on jobs to ensure we are providing a superior product and customers are happy with the work we are performing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Effectively communicate standard operating procedures and share key information during pre-shift meetings.
- Maintain a professional environment in interactions with external customers and vendors, including drivers, dispatchers, and customer representatives.
Reporting
Track key performance indicators, prepare quality reports, conduct audits, monitor material handling equipment reports, track site and individual performance, and complete customer-required reporting.
- Ensure inventory integrity through timely and accurate receiving, picking, shipping, and inventory management.
- Participate in collecting performance measurements aligned with customer, vendor, and site requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Organize and lead efforts to improve productivity by strengthening both process effectiveness and associate efficiency.
- Provide timely feedback to associates after reviewing the details of their work.
- Track associate performance to identify training needs and improvement opportunities.
- Implement, modify, and maintain job breakdown analysis for management.
- 1–2 years of logistics industry experience.
- 2–3 years of experience in a lead, supervisor, or management role.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze issues systematically and develop lasting corrective actions.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to complete quarterly cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Experience with workload planning and scheduling.
- Experience maintaining preventive maintenance routines.
- Facility management experience, including maintenance and upkeep.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong people skills with a positive, motivating leadership style.
- Experience setting objectives and goals.
- Fluency in English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
