Job Overview
Seeking an experienced Accounting & Payroll Clerk to manage weekly union payroll, including prevailing wage and certified payroll, using ADP Workforce Now. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced HVAC environment with minimal supervision and a high level of accuracy and independence.

Duties

• Process and manage weekly union payroll in compliance with collective bargaining agreements using ADP Workforce Now
• Calculate union wages, overtime, and job-specific pay rates
• Prepare and submit prevailing wage and certified payroll reports in compliance with applicable regulations
• Manage union dues, fringe benefits, and required reporting
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end close
• Maintain accurate financial records and support audits as needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven payroll and/or accounting experience
• Must currently be performing payroll processing duties, including union payroll and/or certified payroll, in a professional setting
• Direct experience processing union payroll required (not approval or oversight only)
• Prevailing wage and certified payroll experience strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now required
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop
• Strong Excel and data entry skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet strict weekly payroll deadlines
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:

• Proven payroll and accounting : 5 years (Required)
• ADP Workforce Now : 5 years (Preferred)
