Maintenance Technician - with Experience or Trainee

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40-50 hours per week average

TST Impreso, a leading producer and distributor of processed paper products, is looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician, with experience or trainee, to work at our Addison IL, facility.

General Position Description

Candidate will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical repair of paper slitting equipment in a fast-paced production setting. This position is critical to keeping the manufacturing process running at the most efficient levels. Familiarity with Dusenbery and Jennerjahn paper conversion equipment is a plus. Experience with shrink-wrap machinery (hot knife), heat tunnels, conveyor belts, compressors, fork trucks and building maintenance issues is needed. Must have working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, AC/DC Motor, PLC, electrical components, relay logic and ability to use testing equipment such as voltage/AMP meter. Troubleshoot and ability to work on 110v/220v electrical components. The ability to perform basic math calculations in standard and metric formats.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in similar production/plant environment
• Bilingual, English and Spanish (preferred)
• Efficient trouble-shooting skills that lead to reduced down time
• Experience welding

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma and/or college/technical degree
• 2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced manufacturing facility
