Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise high-end finish carpentry work that enhances both the aesthetic and functional quality of our projects. Your expertise will ensure that all interior and exterior finishes meet our rigorous standards of craftsmanship, safety, and durability.

Key ResponsibilitiesCraftsmanship & Installation

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install high-end trim, molding, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other finish carpentry components.
• Execute precise installations of fixtures, custom shelving, siding, and hardware.
• Perform detailed woodworking and fabrication tasks using both traditional hand tools and advanced power tools (including CNC machinery where applicable).

Technical & Project Execution

• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications.
• Utilize construction estimating skills to assess material quantities, minimize waste, and ensure efficient project execution.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate on-site tasks and ensure timely project completion.

Safety & Versatility

• Maintain a strict commitment to power tool safety, scaffolding protocols, heavy lifting safety, and working at heights to ensure a secure job site.
• Assist with specialized restoration work as needed, which may include water/mold remediation, drywall patching, plastering, or minor structural support.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in finish carpentry, trim carpentry, cabinetry installation, or a closely related construction field.
• Strong ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints and technical design specifications.
• Proficiency with a wide range of hand and power tools (saws, drills, sanders, routers, etc.).
• Solid understanding of construction estimating processes to assess material needs and project costs effectively.
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and a career-oriented mindset.

Advantageous/Bonus Skills:

Experience in any of the following areas is a major plus and will provide versatile project support:

• Drywall finishing, plastering, caulking, and stucco application.
• Remodeling and restoration industry experience (water/mold remediation).
• Basic knowledge of framing (wood/metal stud), tile laying, flooring, roofing, masonry, plumbing, or electrical work.
