Pineville Pet Hospital is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Veterinary Receptionist to join our team! We are a busy, fast-paced walk-in veterinary clinic looking for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment while providing exceptional customer service to our clients and compassionate care to their pets.

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and patients in a friendly, professional manner
• Answer multi-line phone system
• Schedule appointments
• Check patients in and out efficiently
• Process payments
• Communicate clearly with doctors, technicians, and clients
• Assist with prescription requests and client questions
• Keep the reception area clean and organized
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned
• Unpack food boxes and rotate/restock inventory
• Must be able to alphabetize charts

Qualifications:

• Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred
• Veterinary experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer and phone skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working around dogs and cats
• Team player with a positive attitude​
