ABOUT THE POSITION
Are you searching for a position with a variety and challenges in a fast-paced environment?
At a 24-hour day police dispatch center you will be using a sophisticated Computer Aided Dispatch terminal. A Communications Dispatcher receives emergency calls from the public requesting police, fire, medical, or other emergency service; determine priority, and dispatch police, or other emergency units as necessary and in accordance with established procedures.
Typical duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
