Well-established civil engineering consulting firm seeking a Civil Engineer to join its growing site development team.

This is an opportunity to work on design-focused site development projects rather than repetitive, high-volume production work. The firm partners closely with architects and landscape architects on institutional, campus, and other complex site development projects throughout the region.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site civil engineering plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Design grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion & sediment control, and utility systems
• Coordinate directly with architects, landscape architects, and other design professionals
• Prepare permit applications and respond to agency review comments
• Assist with construction document preparation
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and deadlines
• Work collaboratively with senior engineers while taking increasing ownership of projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Approximately 4-8 years of relevant site civil or land development experience (engineers with more or less experience are also encouraged to apply)
• Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
• Experience with grading, drainage, stormwater, and site development design
• Familiarity with permitting processes
• PE license or EIT working toward licensure is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work independently and contribute immediately
