Cat Hospital At Towson is seeking an experienced, full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our feline-exclusive practice in the Baltimore/Towson area. What You’ll Do
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll get to provide high-quality feline medical care, including:
· Wellness care through preventive semiannual exams, trending with diagnostics, and senior-cat medicine
· Sick visits, diagnostics, chronic disease management, and pain management
· Dentistry and soft-tissue surgery, depending on your interests and experience
· Client education and collaborative treatment planning
· Medical recordkeeping and case follow-up
· Support for a positive, respectful hospital culture
· Mentorship and knowledge-sharing with technicians, assistants, newer doctors, and support staff
Who You Are
The ideal candidate is:
· A licensed DVM, VMD or equivalent, eligible to practice in Maryland
· Experienced, preferably with five or more years in clinical practice
· Comfortable managing appointments independently
· Passionate about feline medicine and client communication
· Emotionally intelligent, collaborative, and respectful
· Skilled at building positive working relationships with Gen X, Millennial, and Gen Z teammates and clients
· Digitally competent and open to new technologies to improve cat health
· Interested in contributing to a healthy, modern workplace culture
· Open to continuous learning and thoughtful practice improvement
Feline-exclusive experience is wonderful but not required if you have strong interest and aptitude in feline medicine.
Schedule and Hybrid Flexibility
This is a full-time position with a schedule designed to support sustainability and balance.
Hybrid work may be available for appropriate duties such as medical record completion, client follow-up calls, telehealth and telemedicine where legally and medically appropriate, lab review, treatment-plan communication, and team/admin projects.
We are open to discussing a schedule that supports patient care, team coverage, and personal well-being.
Compensation
Expected compensation range: $140,000–$175,000 base salary, commensurate with experience, schedule, and clinical strengths, with production or bonus eligibility.
Highly qualified candidates with strong feline medicine, dentistry, surgery, leadership, or client-development skills may be considered above range.
