Looking for Full Time Medical Assistant —37hrs a week ; two 12hr, one 6hr and one 7hr shift =37hrs a week

-Includes Every other full weekend rotation (Sat and Sun 9a to 4p)

OR

Part Time- 24hrs/ week + weekend rotations

Looking for experienced (certified preferred) Medical Assistant to join our clinical team at a busy outpatient center. Individual must possess exceptional bedside manner, communcation skills with patients and staff members, have an upbeat personality, positive demeanor, and exceptional work ethic.

Must have experience working in an ER or Urgent Care Minimum of 1 year

· Greeting all patients with a professional welcoming demeanor

· Prepare examination and treatment rooms with necessary instruments.

· Take patient's history and vital signs, triage.

· Experience with EKG's, Injections, Lab draws, processing labs, Urine dip, CLIA Waived Rapid in-house testing, and will learn COVID19 testing if havent had experience yet.

· Will undergo training for COVID19 testing protocols, Occupational Medicine services.

· Learn EMR system and properly document patient chart.

· Prepare patient for examination and treatment.

· Apply splints and dressings, prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments including sterilization.

· Dispense medication as directed under supervision.

· Handle phone calls from clients, patients, perspective patients, physicians, pharmacies, as well as other staff.

· Assist with scheduling of tests and treatments if necessary.

· Shifts may vary between: 12hr shifts, 10 hour shifts, or 6 hour shifts and every other weekend Sat/Sun 9a to 4p

- Must have CPR/BLS (or obtain during orientation)

-Have attended an accredited MA school and be board certified or trained under certified MA’s for a minimum of 1 year.

-Pay (starting at $20/hr and up) Pay based on years of experience and knowledge in ER or URGENT CARE field competencies
