CSN Radio is looking for a full-time board operator. We currently have 6AM-6PM (12 Hour) shifts available, work 3-4 days per week.

Please note, we are a Non-Denominational Christian Radio Network and being a believer is highly recommended.

Qualifications:

• Good computer skills and attention to detail (Required)
• Experience with digital audio workstation such as Adobe Audition (Helpful)
• Must be able to multi-task and handle light production duties
• Must be willing to work overtime, additional days on occasion, weekends and some holidays
• Candidate has radio board operating experience (preferred)
• Experience with Zetta Automation is (preferred)

Board operators are responsible for a number of important duties that serve our team, our programmers, and our listeners. Duties vary but most often revolve around making sure the programs are running smoothly through technical means.

Essentially, the operator must control the board, adjust timing for programming, keep tabs on our full power transmitters, as well as listening to, and fixing or reporting any issues with the broadcast. As a board operator, having the knowledge to troubleshoot and fix problems is an essential skill. Having other technical experience such as working with audio editing software, mixing boards, and microphones is very helpful.

The board operator is an entry level position, but plays a vital role in making sure any loose ends are tied up and to ensure the broadcast sounds professional and runs smoothly .
