Overview:
We are seeking a Competitive Intelligence (CI) Manager to support the Pulmonary division of our Competitive Intelligence team. This role will be responsible for leading the collection, analysis, and synthesis of competitive insights to inform strategic decision-making across the franchise. The CI Manager will deliver actionable intelligence on current and emerging competitors as well as the evolving treatment landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive competitive intelligence plans, including alerts, timelines, and competitive simulations, to assess the impact of competitive and market dynamics on brand and franchise strategies.
• Conduct research and competitive intelligence activities in a compliant manner, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and objectivity.
• Partner with Strategic Insights and Analytics (SIA) colleagues to integrate CI findings with market research, forecasting, and analytical outputs to drive Oncology portfolio strategies.
• Provide insights to inform business planning, including forecasting cycles, brand planning, and go-to-market strategies.
• Organize and lead CI efforts at major oncology conferences to capture and communicate relevant market and competitor updates.
• Monitor healthcare and pharmaceutical industry trends and evaluate their potential implications for business strategy.

Qualifications (Must Have):

• Relevant business experience in competitive intelligence, market research, marketing, sales, business analytics, strategic planning, or management consulting.
• Prior pharmaceutical industry experience (J&J experience strongly preferred).
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), with the ability to convey insights to diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence decision-making.
• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, MBA, or equivalent).
• Diverse industry or therapeutic area experience, including exposure to both specialty and primary care/retail markets.
