Maintenance Mechanic II 3rd Shift (10pm-6am)
Role Purpose:
Maintain and improve equipment integrity via PM, PdM, repair, and / or project implementation.
Responsibilities:
Interprets instructions and resolves less complex problems to ensure the continuity of operational/administrative activities.
Undertakes basic equipment maintenance to ensure optimum levels of efficiency and minimal reliance on contractors.
Reacts promptly to specific operational problems seeking advice or referring the issue to an appropriate team member where necessary in order to guarantee the continuity of the operations.
Takes responsibility for ensuring the quality of operational activities undertaken within own area.
Observes all necessary safety procedures and maintains awareness of others, including contractors, of current safe practices in order to avoid damages to personnel, assets and environment.
Carries out pre defined activities (packaging, loading, etc.) to ensure the timely delivery of product and services to customers.
Applies working procedures and routines to ensure consistent, high quality output to customers.
Identifies potential improvements to work procedures to enhance quality standards and efficiency.
Builds and maintains an internal network of contacts to have adequate information to fulfill the requirements of the job.
Reports issues and problems impacting on safety to minimize lost working time and accidents at work.
Requirements:
7+ years experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment
Fabrication experience
Electrical trouble shooting experience
Knowledge and background with working on pumps, drives, motors, and pneumatics.
Knowledge and background with air compressors and other facility equipment
Knowledge of PMS systems a plus
Good communication skills
