Position: IT Business Systems Analyst

Compensation: $45 - $55 /hour, depending on experience

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled IT Business Systems Analyst to join their team!

This is a strong contract opportunity for a business-focused analyst who thrives in fast-paced enterprise environments. You’ll help turn business needs into clear, actionable user stories and support the delivery of low-code solutions that create real impact. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Gather business requirements and translate them into Agile user stories
• Define clear acceptance criteria and business value
• Communicate requirements to development and offshore teams
• Evaluate solution options and recommend practical approaches
• Support UAT and validate delivered solutions
• Identify process improvement opportunities and root causes
• Participate in backlog refinement and sprint planning
• Maintain alignment across stakeholders and delivery teams
• Work within governance, audit, and documentation standards

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong communication and active listening skills
• Experience writing functional and non-functional requirements
• Experience supporting testing and UAT activities
• Business analyst experience in the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem
• Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, or SharePoint
• Data modeling experience with entity relationships
• Understanding of Agile fundamentals and team-based delivery
• Knowledge of IT service management and SDLC practices
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments
• Willingness to travel 10–25%

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a SAFe Agile environment
• Background in oil refining or industrial settings
• Familiarity with ITSM tools
• Knowledge of change management processes
• Understanding of Power Platform governance and ALM
