Job Summary

The AV Engineer is responsible for running and maintaining all audio, visual, and lighting systems. Duties include but are not limited to mixing musical acts daily, setting up TV schedules for the duration of the day, and backline equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the audio-visual team member responsible for mixing musical acts ranging from solo performances to 8-10 members.
• Operates Midas m32 consoles, Q-SYS, and Resolume Arena to ensure quality outcomes and positive guest experiences according to the standard operating procedures.
• Responsible for full band set up and mic placement.
• Enforces venue policy with band members and guests.
• Work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional work-related duties as assigned.

Skills

• Strong electrical experience with expertise in E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) systems and low voltage wiring.
• Proficient in using hand tools for installation, repair, and maintenance tasks.
• Skilled in software troubleshooting across multiple platforms including AV control systems and telecommunication networks.
• Knowledge of computer hardware components relevant to AV equipment setup and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics accurately for wiring diagrams and system layouts.
• Mechanical aptitude for handling cabling runs, mounting hardware, and system adjustments.
• Experience in field service environments with the ability to troubleshoot on-site efficiently.
• Familiarity with telecommunication systems and electrical safety standards related to low voltage installations.
