Title: Senior Data Engineer - GCP Migration

Location: Charlotte, NC (300 Brevard St)

Alternative Location: Iselin, NJ

Duration: 18 months

Work Engagement: W2

Work Schedule: Hybrid 3 days in office/2 days remote

Summary:

In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Current data platform built on Teradata and moving to GCP with target date of year end. Set up environment in GCP, work with stakeholders in the Fraud and Claims Analysis group. Will support apps supporting Fraud. Roughly 1,000 Terabytes of data, 600-700 tables. Environment is GCP Big Query, Pyspark, Hadoop, Abinitio, Dremio and S3 storage grid.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

• 5+ yrs engineering experience, equivalent to a Senior Engineer

• SQL (4 - 6 yrs)

• ETL (4-6 yrs)

• Pyspark/Python (4-6 yrs)

• Autosys

• Abinitio

• Cloud technology (GCP highly preferable)
