Prior custom closet installation experience is required. We are looking for someone who can step into a leadership role, mentor team members, solve problems in the field, and represent our company with professionalism and integrity.
Position Overview
As our Lead Installer, you will oversee and perform the installation of custom closets, home organization systems, garages, pantries, home offices, wall beds, and other storage solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring every project is completed accurately, efficiently, and to the high standards our clients expect.
This position requires strong carpentry and installation skills, attention to detail, leadership abilities, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise installation crews on residential projects.
- Install custom closets, garage systems, pantries, home offices, mudrooms, and specialty storage solutions.
- Read and interpret design drawings and installation plans.
- Ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and resolve issues in the field.
- Communicate effectively with designers, project coordinators, and homeowners.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Train and mentor junior installers and helpers.
- Manage materials, hardware, and installation tools.
- Conduct final quality inspections before project completion.
- Represent Inspired Closets Austin professionally in clients' homes.
Qualifications
- Required: Previous experience installing custom closets and organizational systems.
- Strong carpentry, trim, and finish installation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and installation plans.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and carry materials and work in residential environments.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lead a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
