Join our dynamic and compassionate center as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will lead behavioral intervention programs, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop tailored treatment plans grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Duties
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and functional behavior assessments to identify individual needs and strengths.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to measure progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and staff on behavioral therapy techniques and data collection methods.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive support strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, treatment records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Facilitate intake assessments for new clients, ensuring thorough understanding of each individual's unique requirements.
- Promote patient care by delivering compassionate support during behavioral health interventions and assessments.
Experience
- A valid BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Proven experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and special education practices.
- Experience conducting patient assessments, data collection, and developing evidence-based treatment plans.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards such as HIPAA compliance.
- Ability to perform intake procedures effectively while maintaining a client-centered approach.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families.
