Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities for ProPack24's contract packaging services.
• Prospect food manufacturers, importers, distributors, private label companies, and consumer brands.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM software.
• Schedule customer meetings, facility tours, and product presentations.
• Understand customer packaging requirements and coordinate with operations to prepare proposals.
• Prepare pricing quotations and negotiate service agreements.
• Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences.
• Work closely with operations to ensure smooth project launches.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
• Maintain long-term relationships with customers and identify expansion opportunities.

The representative will sell services including:

• Flexible pouch packaging
• Premade pouch filling
• Vertical form-fill-seal packaging
• Jar filling
• Dry food packaging
• Rice packaging
• Beans packaging
• Salt packaging
• Repackaging
• Labeling
• Private label manufacturing
• Warehousing and fulfillment (where applicable)

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience
• Experience selling co-packing, food manufacturing, packaging equipment, ingredients, foodservice, or related industries
• Existing network within the food industry preferred
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Self-starter capable of working independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Ability to travel throughout Southern California and occasionally nationwide

Commission: Competitive uncapped commission based on new business generated.

Success Metrics

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Build a qualified pipeline of new opportunities.
• Generate consistent monthly quoting activity.
• Close profitable new contract packaging accounts.
• Develop long-term customer relationships that generate recurring business.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
