Medical Credentialing Assistant to join our team.

Successful candidates will possess the following:

· Ability to follow guidelines and directions to complete and track the medical credentialing process for medical and mental health provider practices and facilities.

· Close attention to detail and accuracy.

· Able to multi-task and prioritize client needs.

· Ability to work within deadlines.

· Experience and proficiency working with Windows operating systems (Word, Adobe, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Loop etc.)

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent customer service skills and the ability to professionally communicate (both written and verbally) with medical and mental health providers, office staff and health insurance companies.

· Team player mentality.

· Maintain confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the credentialing process by verifying healthcare providers' qualifications and ensuring compliance with NCQA standards.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with managed care organizations to streamline credentialing procedures and enhance operational efficiency.
• Stay updated on medical terminology and industry regulations to support effective communication within the medical office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
