We are seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Clerk in our River Valley Converting warehouse located in River Falls, WI. The hours for this role are Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:00pm.
Job Function:
The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for overseeing clerical functions and maintaining accurate, organized paperwork for warehouse operations. This role ensures proper paperwork flow and timely processing of documents related to shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment. The Warehouse Clerk works closely with Purchasing, Sales, the City Desk, and Warehouse Management to communicate customer requests, resolve issues, and support efficient warehouse operations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process all inbound paperwork accurately and timely.
- Maintain organized storage and retention of warehouse shipping and receiving documents.
- Review and bin orders as they are printed. Highlight important customer requirements and ensure the warehouse team understands all shipping and processing instructions.
- Accurately process the inbound and outbound functions in CSD.
- Work with Purchasing, City Desk, and inventory control to resolve any issues. Work with Warehouse Management to resolve open issues.
- Coordinate couriers for on-time deliveries
- Check in Drivers, LTL and TL, and process paperwork.
- Process parcel shipments, and generate BOL’s for Out-of-Town Trucks
- Escalate issues to the Distribution Manager and work together to resolve them.
- Keep docks and Shipping/Receiving area clean and organized.
- Organize warehouse, rotating and filling stock as needed.
- Conduct rolling inventory counts and spot check counts.
- Assist with annual inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Education and Abilities:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- The ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with the other departments including sales, purchasing, customer service, and accounting.
- Competency with basic computer functions and data entry, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, talk, or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Checking orders and completing computer-related tasks are routinely required.
