The Role

We’re seeking a resourceful and analytical Custom Data Acquisition Analyst to source, validate, and integrate specialized datasets that enhance our platform’s capabilities. This role will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to identify data requirements, build acquisition strategies, and ensure data quality and compliance. The ideal candidate thrives in investigative work, has strong technical and analytical skills, and understands how to translate raw data into actionable insights for our customers.

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data acquisition, or a related role
• Strong research skills to identify and evaluate relevant data sources
• Proficiency with data querying tools and languages (SQL, Python, or similar)
• Experience in data cleaning, transformation, and validation
• Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and compliance best practices
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong desire to understand our product, target market, and direction of the company’s growth
• Willingness to be part of the growth of the organization
• Enjoy breaking new ground and providing solutions in a rapidly changing environment
• Experience in cybersecurity, compliance, or risk management in data environments
• Familiarity with APIs and automated data collection methods

• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for reporting and visualization
• Strong communication skills to present findings to both technical and nontechnical audiences
