Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Shop Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily production activities, ensure efficient workflow, and uphold quality standards. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize production scheduling, and manage cross-functional teams to meet operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all aspects of production management, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation using manufacturing management systems such as SAP or ERP platforms.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
• Monitor production performance through data analysis in Excel and supply chain analytics tools to identify areas for process improvement.
• Supervise team members across assembly lines, ensuring safety protocols are followed and quality control standards are maintained.
• Collaborate with supply chain management to optimize inventory levels, manage procurement schedules, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows, implementing process improvements, and fostering a culture of lean management.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation related to production activities, safety compliance, and operational metrics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of production scheduling and plant management.
• Familiarity with SAP, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), ERP systems, and supply chain management tools.
• Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies such as Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and facilitate cross-functional communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
• Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes and assembly operations is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Pay: $59,355.87 - $71,482.34 per year
