Provide day-to-day supervision of data entry staff responsible for processing survey forms (annual, quarterly, and benchmark).
Manage workload distribution, prioritize tasks, and ensure job turnaround times (1–3 days) are consistently met.
Serve as primary liaison with Workload Coordinator and program offices to align staffing with survey requirements.
Mentor and train staff to ensure consistent adherence to data entry standards and accuracy goals.
Oversee batching, keypunching, scanning, and indexing of survey forms into systems.
Ensure strict accuracy and integrity of entered data in compliance with legal mandates (e.g., Title 22, U.S. Code).
Review and validate error reports, initiate corrections, and ensure resubmission of batches when needed.
Monitor and report on error rates, productivity metrics, and compliance with timeliness standards.
Recommend and implement improvements to data entry workflows, tools, and error-reduction techniques.
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data-handling protocols.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data entry and validation processes.
Support contingency planning efforts, including backup and recovery of data entry operations.
Prepare weekly and monthly status reports documenting progress, issues, and corrective actions.
Communicate effectively with government stakeholders regarding workload status, risks, and quality issues.
Support contract deliverables by contributing to project plans, progress meetings, and performance reviews.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Management, Statistics, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of experience supervising data entry or data operations teams in a federal or enterprise-scale environment.
Demonstrated expertise in data accuracy, error management, and compliance monitoring.
Strong familiarity with large-scale survey data collection and processing workflows.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, scanning tools, and enterprise data entry/keypunch applications.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Must meet credentialing, training, and security requirements.
Experience with federal survey data.
Knowledge of FISMA moderate controls and federal IT/data security standards.
Familiarity with statistical software (SAS, MATLAB, Python) and database environments (SQL Server).
Prior experience in federal contracting environments with Earned Value Management reporting exposure.
