Action Packaging is seeking an Operations & Data Analyst to support operational reporting, EDI management, chargeback verification, freight optimization, and business analytics initiatives across the organization.
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this role will be responsible for maintaining critical business reporting, supporting healthcare contract administration processes, managing EDI trading partner relationships, and driving operational efficiency through data analysis and process improvement. The Operations & Data Analyst will serve as a key resource for identifying trends, improving visibility into business performance, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain recurring executive, sales, operations, and business performance reports.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and analytics to identify trends and support business decisions.
- Analyze sales, margin, inventory, customer, vendor, and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Verify healthcare contract pricing, distributor chargebacks, and resolve pricing discrepancies.
- Administer EDI transactions, troubleshoot issues, and support trading partner onboarding.
- Manage shipping system administration, freight reporting, and identify transportation cost savings.
- Validate and reconcile business data to ensure accuracy across ERP and reporting systems.
- Maintain documentation, reporting standards, and support continuous process improvements.
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, and other departments to improve data quality and business performance.
Required Skills, Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business analytics, operations, supply chain, or reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience with NetSuite, EDI, and Pacejet or other transportation management systems.
- Experience in healthcare distribution, packaging, manufacturing, or wholesale distribution.
