We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our innovative team. Duties

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for data projects and reporting needs.
• Design and develop comprehensive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other reporting platforms to visualize key performance indicators.
• Perform data analysis using SQL databases, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other data sources to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Develop and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes utilizing Talend, Python, Bash (Unix shell), and VBA to ensure accurate data integration across systems.
• Conduct database design activities including data model design to support scalable analytics solutions and business intelligence initiatives.
• Support the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, testing, deployment, and maintenance of analytical solutions within Agile frameworks.
• Create detailed documentation using tools like Visio for process flows and technical specifications to facilitate clear communication among teams.
• Assist in query management and troubleshooting SQL queries to maintain high-quality data reporting environments.
• Engage in continuous learning of new analytics tools such as R for statistical analysis or Looker for advanced data exploration to enhance analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with business analysis in a data-driven environment with strong understanding of the SDLC methodology.
• Proficiency in SQL programming for querying relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to develop compelling dashboards.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools like Talend or scripting languages such as Python and Bash for data integration tasks.
• Familiarity with database design principles and data model development to support analytics projects.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
• Experience working within Agile project management frameworks to deliver iterative solutions efficiently.
• Technical proficiency in Excel for data analysis along with VBA scripting for automation tasks.
• Understanding of business intelligence concepts including reporting standards, dashboard development, linked data integration, and query management.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively gather requirements, present findings, and collaborate across teams.

Pay: $85,971.70 - $134,449.78 per year
