An expanding biotechnology company is looking for a Research Associate to support drug development projects, focused on oncology, immunology, and protein data. This position offers a very challenging and rewarding work environment, within a thriving company. Candidates will be given the opportunity to participate in projects of increasing complexity pertaining to method development and genetic perturbation experiments.

Responsibilities:

• Expression of antibodies and novel biologic samples
• Support recombinant and chromatographic protein expression, purification, and molecular biology through cell culture expression (bacterial & mammalian)
• Support constructs preparation through various molecular biology techniques such as PCR, DNA preparation, and high-throughput screening
• Improve productivity of cell lines/processes
• Analyze immune responses using techniques that include (but are not limited to) cell culture, neutralization assays, ELISAs, and more

Requirements:

• Strong BS/MS degree in biochemistry, biophysics, molecular biology, bioengineering, etc
• 1+ years of experience in recombinant DNA technologies, biochemical assays, protein expression enzymatic assays, cell transformation, CRISPR, etc)
• Gene synthesis research desired
• Industry experience highly preferred
