Our client is seeking a Junior Research Associate to join their Formulation Research & Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline, or someone with 1–3 years of pharmaceutical or drug product experience, to gain hands-on experience supporting the development of innovative drug products.

What You'll Do

• Develop and prepare ocular drug formulations for pre-clinical and clinical development.
• Support formulation development and manufacturing process activities at the laboratory scale.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and generate high-quality scientific data.
• Analyze experimental results and prepare technical reports.
• Present findings and recommendations to project teams.
• Collaborate with analytical scientists and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and follow GLP/GMP and laboratory safety procedures.
• Stay current with scientific literature related to formulation and drug delivery.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific field.
• Academic or industry experience in drug product development, formulation, or pharmaceutical sciences.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical formulation principles.
• Strong laboratory skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

• 0–3 years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory formulation techniques and characterization methods.
• Familiarity with GLP/GMP environments.
• Experience interpreting experimental data and performing basic statistical analysis.
