CCBC employs programmers across a wide range of application development and systems support areas. We are currently seeking a Programmer with a particular focus on database administration within our Ellucian Banner and Oracle environments. This role supports database maintenance, Banner administrative processes, SQL and PL/SQL development, and collaboration with database administrators to ensure data integrity, system performance, and reliable enterprise operations. The Programmer Analyst I maintains information technology systems including software development life cycles to design, analysis, detail programming, testing, and documentation, understanding business goals and objects, and ensuring projects are delivered in timely manners.

The Programmer/Analyst II serves as a senior technical expert responsible for the advanced support, operation, maintenance, and development of enterprise business applications, including but not limited to the Ellucian Banner ERP system. This role provides strategic and technical leadership in the planning, execution, and evaluation of administrative and academic application initiatives that align with the College’s mission and the strategic vision for information technology. This position requires a high level of autonomy, initiative, and expertise in enterprise application environments, with a strong emphasis on Banner ERP and related administrative systems.

McDaniel College has extended its Educator’s Legacy Scholarship (ELS) program to CCBC benefits-eligible employees. CCBC is among the inaugural community college partners.

Children of ANY current full-time benefits-eligible CCBC employee with at least four years of continuous full-time employment are eligible to receive a scholarship valued at up to $100,000 over four (4) years.
