Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated E-Tech to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, and automation technologies. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing complex manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. The E-Tech will work closely with engineering and production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high-quality operations across various systems including hydraulics, sensors, PLCs, and vision inspection systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and other automation components such as sensors, vision inspection systems, and CNC machinery.
• Perform calibration of instruments and sensors to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, AutoCAD diagrams, and system documentation to facilitate repairs and modifications.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage components, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Support field service activities by diagnosing problems on-site at customer facilities or within manufacturing plants.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment or upgrades using technical knowledge of electrical systems.
• Utilize testing tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to improve system reliability, safety procedures, and operational efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing technical issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial electrician work or industrial maintenance with a strong background in hydraulics, sensors, PLC programming, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of electrical experience, including low voltage, calibration techniques, and schematic interpretation.
• Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments like ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical circuits.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and system documentation accurately.
• Experience working with field service operations in manufacturing environments or military settings is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent customer service abilities.
• Relevant certifications or training in electrical systems or industrial maintenance are highly desirable. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
