We are a well-established privately owned company in Indian Trail, NC seeking a Field Service Tech /Engineer for Digital Print Equipment.

We specialize in product decoration, specifically digital printing. We are looking for a full-time Field Service Engineer with experience in a manufacturing environment. This is a rewarding career move for the right candidate.

Job Description

Our Field Service Engineers are responsible for maintaining continuous operation of our digital printers which include Mimaki and Mutoh wide format flatbed printers and our own line of specialized rotary digital printers. Must be able to methodically diagnose, troubleshoot and problem solve mechanical, electrical, and software issues. An ideal candidate will also be able to analyze and troubleshoot print application issues. Computer literacy is a must. Must be an outstanding “people person” and possess the ability to work as part of a team. Must be orderly, pay attention to detail, and be able to see color.

Responsibilities

 Factory prep, testing, and maintenance of machinery

 Install, train, and post-installation remote support of machinery direct with customers

 Maintain a clean work area

 Properly document machine maintenance history

 Communicate clearly with management staff

 Apply training to work practices

Position Requirements

 Must bring energy and passion to work everyday

 Knowledge or experience of print decoration methods a plus (pad print, screen print, etc)

 Must have the ability to see color

 Travel will be required for installation, training, and customer maintenance visits as well as potential trade show support.

 Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

 Associate’s degree level of education preferred

 Computer literate

 Must be detail oriented
