As our Supply & Trading Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring a reliable supply of whey while maximizing the value of our cheese and cream co-products through thoughtful sourcing, trading, logistics, and commercial strategy.

What You'll Do

As the Supply & Trading Manager, you'll serve as the commercial connection between our dairy supply network, manufacturing operations, and customers. You'll develop strategies that ensure supply continuity while optimizing profitability and supporting operational excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:

Develop Commercial & Sourcing Strategies

• Build and execute sourcing strategies that ensure a reliable supply of whey for manufacturing operations.
• Monitor domestic and global dairy markets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Translate market intelligence into proactive sourcing, pricing, and trading decisions.

Lead Supplier & Customer Partnerships

• Develop and maintain strong relationships throughout the dairy supplier network.
• Lead commercial negotiations for supply agreements and contracts.
• Foster long-term partnerships built on collaboration, trust, and mutual success.

Drive Trading & Portfolio Performance

• Optimize the commercial value of cheese and cream co-products.
• Balance pricing, portfolio management, and market opportunities to maximize profitability.
• Evaluate market volatility and develop strategies that effectively manage commercial risk.

Production Planning & Logistics

• Partner with Operations and S&OP to ensure production plans align with supply availability and market demand.
• Oversee transportation strategy and logistics to ensure products move safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
• Continuously improve planning and logistics processes to enhance service and operational performance.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Collaborate closely with Operations, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to support business objectives.
• Provide commercial insights that influence planning and strategic decision-making.
• Ensure alignment across functions to deliver outstanding customer and operational results.

Lead & Develop Your Team

• Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing Supply & Trading team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
• Empower team members through clear direction, development opportunities, and supportive leadership.

What You Bring

We're looking for a commercially minded leader who combines strategic thinking with strong relationship-building and analytical skills.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, commercial sales, supply chain management, commodity trading, or dairy ingredient sourcing.
• Experience within the dairy, food ingredient, agricultural, or commodity markets is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation and commercial contract management experience.
• Deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, market economics, and risk management.
• Proven ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions in rapidly changing markets.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to make independent commercial decisions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.
