Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and performance-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team and support the execution of high-performing Google Ads & Meta Ads campaigns.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys working within Google’s advertising and analytics platforms to improve campaign performance and drive measurable results.

You’ll support paid search initiatives across multiple dealership rooftops while coordinating with our SEM and SEO vendors to ensure campaigns, tracking, and websites are performing effectively.

This is a full-time, in-house position based in Burlingame, CA

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns across multiple dealership accounts
• Build, launch, and optimize Google Search, Performance Max (PMAX), Vehicle Listing Ads (VLA/Shopping) and Meta AIA campaigns
• Configure and maintain Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and Google Merchant Center
• Monitor campaign performance, budgets, conversion tracking, lead quality, and provide data-driven optimizations
• Implement monthly promotions and dealership specials within campaigns
• Manage SEM and SEO vendors by reviewing performance, communicating priorities, and ensuring campaign and website initiatives are completed accurately and on schedule
• Generate performance reports and provide recommendations for ongoing campaign improvements

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads/Meta Ads campaigns with active advertising budgets
• Experience managing Search, Performance Max (PMax), Shopping (VLA) and Meta AIA campaigns
• Experience configuring and maintaining Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
• Experience implementing and managing Google Tag Manager
• Experience managing Google Merchant Center and product feeds
• Ability to analyze campaign performance and make data-driven optimizations
• Experience with creating performance reports
• Experience working with or coordinating digital marketing vendors
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Automotive dealership or ad agency experience
• Working knowledge of SEO best practices and Google Search Console
• Experience with Looker Studio/Tableau, SEMrush/Ahrefs , Google Trends and Lighthouse
• Familiar with basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to troubleshoot and communicate website-related issues
• Familiar with automotive CRM systems (Reynolds & Reynolds and Tekion) or similar

Work Environment

• Based in Burlingame, CA with occasional collaboration at other dealership locations in the Bay Area
• Fast-paced, collaborative automotive marketing environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00 - $37.00 per hour
