We are currently hiring a Community Transit Trainer for a part-time role (around 20 - 25 hours per week) supporting our Snohomish County Programs (Everett, WA based).

The Community Transit Trainer works in cooperation with our Employment Consultants and our Program Manager to assist persons with disabilities, seniors and anyone who is in need of travel training. They participate in educating, assessing, and assisting them on the fundamentals of bus riding and safety. Additionally the successful candidate will market our programs to local school districts, senior community centers and other community based support services. Qualifications:

• Ability to pass Washington State Patrol and DSHS Background checks
• Possess own personal auto transportation, hold a valid Driver’s License, Valid State required Auto Liability Insurance
• Ability to work and thrive in an autonomous work environment under general supervision
• High degree of Customer Service Orientation
• Ability to establish and provide presentations to community
• Teaching skills incorporating patience and sense of humor
• Willingness to maintain excellent reports, skills assessments and training summaries/recommendations
• Must show proof of being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as a State of WA requirement of employment in our sector
