Relax and Smile Dental Care is looking for an experienced, motivated, and patient-focused Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

As our Treatment Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in guiding patients through their treatment journey while supporting the overall success of the practice.

Responsibilities include:

• Present and explain comprehensive treatment plans with confidence and professionalism
• Educate patients on recommended treatment, helping them understand the value and benefits of their care
• Coordinate patient treatment from diagnosis through completion
• Verify insurance benefits and prepare accurate financial estimates
• Discuss payment options and third-party financing solutions
• Schedule treatment efficiently while maximizing provider productivity
• Follow up with patients who have pending or unscheduled treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Coordinate communication between doctors, hygienists, specialists, and administrative team members
• Assist with scheduling, patient correspondence, and other front office responsibilities as needed
• Help improve treatment acceptance through exceptional communication and patient education
• Deliver a welcoming, professional, luxury-level patient experience

QualificationsRequired

• Minimum 3 years of proven dental sales experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator, Treatment Plan Coordinator, Patient Care Coordinator, or similar role
• Demonstrated success presenting and closing comprehensive dental treatment plans
• Strong understanding of dental treatment planning, case presentation, and patient education
• Experience verifying dental insurance benefits and explaining patient financial responsibility
• Experience discussing financing options and payment arrangements (CareCredit, Sunbit, Cherry, etc.)
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and patient-first mindset
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with doctors and the clinical team

Preferred

• Experience with Open Dental software is highly preferred
• Experience with cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, Invisalign, and comprehensive restorative treatment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience tracking treatment acceptance and following up on unscheduled treatment
• Familiarity with digital dentistry workflows and modern dental technology
