Overview of Position:

A Doughnut Maker/Back of the house is responsible for preparing all products, including doughnuts, fillings and icings needed for all shifts, to Parlor doughnut standards.

Job Responsibility:

• Prepare and cook a variety of donuts according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Decorate and glaze doughnuts using icing, sprinkles, and other toppings.
• Prepared other non-doughnuts food items
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing equipment and utensils.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
• Clean the restaurant at the end of the shift including taking out the trash, mopping and cleaning the bathrooms.
• And other tasks as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Needs to be able to handle the physical requirements of the position such as bending, kneeling and standing.
• You will also be required to take directions and adjust to changing.
• Doughnut Maker must possess basic reading and math skills.

Preferred but not required skills and experience:

• Food Service experience
• Experience with basic equipment repair and maintenance

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
