Location: Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid — some in-office work required weekly, plus home and community visits)

Position Summary:
The Provider Supervisor plays a key role in leading Educates' team of direct service providers — overseeing onboarding and training, scheduling and coverage, documentation quality, and day-to-day service delivery across our Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) and Children's Long-Term Support (CLTS) programs. This role shares supervision of one provider team with a second part-time Supervisor, working closely together to keep coverage seamless and services compliant with Wisconsin DHS 36 standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Leadership, Onboarding & Training
● Coach, evaluate, and give feedback to providers; align caseload assignment with productivity standards.
● Track each provider's required orientation and annual training hours to completion.
● Partner with the Provider Liaison on new-provider mentorship and routine check-in calls.
Scheduling, Coverage & Provider Check-Ins
● Monitor provider capacity to ensure consumers are actively being served.
● Match providers to services they're approved and in-scope to deliver.
● Administer a tiered check-in cadence based on provider tenure and performance.
● Coordinate caseload splits and shared coverage with the co-Supervisor.
Documentation & Quality Assurance
● Hold the team to a 72-hour documentation standard.
● Review note quality and billing accuracy using a standardized rubric.
● Provide technical assistance and route recurring gaps into targeted training.
Service Delivery & Recovery-Plan Oversight
● Ensure services stay tied to each consumer's Care Treatment Plan and goals
● Support providers' input into participant goals and interventions.
DHS 36 & CLTS Compliance
● Keep training, treatment, and supervision records instantly producible for a County or DQA review.
● Confirm all staff know their mandated-reporting duties.
● Attend Milwaukee County CCS Service meetings as needed.
● Attend Educates' weekly administrative team meetings.
Consumer Complaints & Pre-Discharge Resolution
● Serve as first point of contact for consumer/family complaints about service delivery.
● Confirm pre-discharge planning resolves any outstanding concerns before a case closes.
Qualifications:
● Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, human services, or related field
● Working knowledge of Wisconsin CCS, CLTS, and DHS 36 standards.
● Demonstrated experience working with individuals with mental health, substance use, or developmental/physical disability concerns.
● Prior supervisory or leadership experience in behavioral health or community-based services (1+ year preferred).
● Comfortable sharing supervision of one team with a peer Supervisor.
● Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation for community/home visits.
● Able to pass and maintain a caregiver background check throughout employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related human services field.
● Experience providing CCS and/or CLTS services, with related credentialing.
● Able to personally service a small participant caseload directly, if needed (optional).
Schedule:
● Part-Time, approx. 20–25 hrs/week.
● Flexible scheduling, split between virtual and in-office work; some in-office presence required weekly.
● Attendance at Educates' weekly administrative team meeting is required.
● Occasional evening/weekend availability for provider coverage needs.
● Periodic home and community visits as needed.
Compensation:
Hourly, commensurate with education, credentials, and experience — final rate to be confirmed by leadership.
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during administrative and virtual work.
● Ability to use computers and standard office/educational technology.
● Ability to travel locally for in-office meetings and home/community visits, including driving and occasional lifting of materials up to 25 lbs.
