Overview

Join our dynamic team as a CDL Delivery Driver. In this position, you will operate a commercial DOT registered box truck. Class A CDL required to transport freight safely and reliably, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.

This position is responsible for transporting Calmer products to and from manufacturing vendors.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently deliver corn head parts to manufacturing vendors and Calmer warehouse(s);
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction;
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory;
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely order fulfillment;
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during deliveries;
• Calmer vehicle / equipment fleet management;
• Other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge in agriculture is preferred;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Strong knowledge of local area and efficient route planning skills;
• Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required;
• Valid CDL Class A driver’s license with clean driving record required;
• Forklift certification required;
• 1 year manufacturing experience;
• 1 year assembly experience.

Physical and Mental Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, and/or walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds while moving parts or products. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

Working Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to odor, dust, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures.

Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
