Amatrol is looking for a talented VR/AR Graphic Designer to join our Graphical Services team in Jeffersonville, Indiana. In this role, you'll design and develop immersive 3D content that powers cutting-edge virtual reality and augmented reality training experiences used by students, educators, and industry professionals around the world.

What You'll Do
- Create high-quality 3D models, textures, materials, lighting, and environments for VR and AR applications.
- Develop immersive scenes and assets optimized for real-time performance.
- Collaborate with software developers, instructional designers, and fellow artists to create intuitive and engaging training simulations.
- Test, refine, and troubleshoot graphics within VR/AR environments.
- Contribute to a variety of multimedia, animation, and graphic design projects as needed.
- Help improve visual workflows, quality standards, and user experiences across immersive learning products.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Graphic Arts, Digital Media, 3D Animation, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 4+ years of professional experience creating 3D art and visual content.
- Experience in at least three areas of the 3D graphics pipeline, including:
- Modeling
- Texturing
- Shading
- Lighting
- Rigging
- Rendering
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to visual quality.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Game Art, or a related field.
- Experience creating content for VR and/or AR applications.
- Experience with VR headsets and immersive development workflows.
- Proficiency with:
- Cinema 4D
- Redshift
- Unity
- Substance Painter
- Substance Designer
Location Requirement: This is a fully on-site position located in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
